He started his career at VDL Nedcar in 2016 through contacts within the VDL Group. From the beginning, he had a very positive experience. Everything was always well organized, from workwear to employee support. When production at VDL Nedcar came to an end, he explored other opportunities, but when he heard about VDL MIC through former colleagues, he was eager to return. He felt like it was the right place to continue his career.
My main responsibility is coordinating the daily work on the shop floor. I make sure everyone is assigned to the right position, maintain quality standards, and help resolve any issues that arise during the day. A large part of my role involves guiding and supporting colleagues while ensuring operations run smoothly.
What I enjoy most is leading people and helping the team achieve its goals. I like making sure processes run efficiently and that we meet our targets together. The working atmosphere is also excellent, and that is something I truly enjoy every day.
One of the biggest challenges is achieving ambitious targets while maintaining high standards. Every day brings new situations that require quick problem-solving. However, that challenge is exactly what makes the job interesting. I appreciate the freedom and responsibility to find solutions and continuously improve processes.
For me, it is the working environment and the way the organization is structured. Compared to some other companies I have worked for, VDL MIC offers a clear and professional way of working. The structure and organization help everyone perform at their best.
